Let's start with the fact that the US's "allies" often have checkered histories and, more importantly, their own separate reasons for fighting rather than the goodness of their hearts that you seem to be implying. Our Kurdish allies are insurgent groups which the Turkish government has some legitimate beef with. If Texas was trying to secede from the US and helping England fight terrorists in Mexico, you'd better believe that the US would want to put down that rebellion even if it interferes with England's ambitions.

The Turkish government and US government aren't moral equals. Making up false scenarios is a bad look to justifying horrible actions, akin to Trump's "The Kurds didn't help us at Normandy" comments.

Stabbing your allies in the back unnecessarily is a bad look in any situation. There are better ways to go about this.

More importantly, the fact that the US has been fighting a proxy war in Syria has greatly exacerbated the conflict and has helped to fuel the refugee crisis. Instead of having a concrete resolution one way or the other, we have a perpetual civil war that's displacing countless Syrians.

I can't wait for the peace and stability an ISIS controlled Syria brings to the Middle East.

Add it to America's long list of things used by other powers?

Usually it's intentional, not "oops I left all my military assets at Vlad's house"

...first you complain that the US not helping the Kurds and now you complain that the US is trying to help the Kurds? Make up your damn mind.

The tariffs don't help the Kurds, which is the problem.

Compared to what? The previous president who backed revolution throughout the Middle-East and gave rise to ISIS? Or the one before him who destabilized the Middle-East with a series of wars that helped to enable those revolutions?

I can't imagine the self control it must have taken to avoid evoking Obama by name.
