Tall women are openly berated for wearing heels - the primary complaint being "you don't need those, so why are you wearing them"?

If you feel pretty in heels, and you're with a guy who appreciates you for who you are, he isn't going to feel threatened by your height if you're already taller to start. Why not wear them for special occasions or when you want to feel prettier? Maybe it's just confirmation bias - lots of girls wear heels, but we only notice when they tower above the guy they're with.

Take it from me, I've been nearly 5'10" for half my life.
