She said "No, i do not agree with that" and walked off She then asked her manager to ask another waitress to serve the old coots and she was told to go home and ended up fired Brittany said "She essentially told me to suck it up or go home and i said Ok, then i will leave" She posted about it on her FB and the following day she was let go and said she stood by her morals Tad Wallender, the co-owner said she was sent home because she refused todo her job but said they only fired her for BADMOUTHING the company He said "I've heard hundreds of conversations i didn't agree with,but it's a matter of brushing it off and toughing it out through your task. She refused to do aduty we hired her for. That's the bottom line in a nutshell" She then wrote again on the firing and said "I WAS FIRED FROM MY JOB BECAUSE I REFUSED TO WAIT ON A TABLE WHO WERE MAKING TRANSPHOBIC REMARKS ABOUT GUESTS AT ANOTHER TABLE. But i'll always choose my morals over money. See ya" Fat Joe's said they hold a NEUTRAL stance towards all points of views regarding sensitive and polar topics and appreciate all patrons Spencer was flooded with support from the LGBTQ community who praised her for "standing up for the rights and not allowing hate to be spread".
