Topic	really don't think I can watch the NBA this year

Nothing will happen to Enes Kanter either. I dont understand where anyone has gotten the idea that somehow the free speech of NBA players, coaches, executives has somehow been limited or secretly suppressed. Thats not that case here - people are just exhibiting caution in speaking candidly. Youre making some sort of official or secret gag order up that literally doesnt exist. When everyone in the league is avoiding the issue I do not think it takes a genius (lucky for you) to realize that Silver has laid down the law regarding public dissent. And if not, then that means every player and coach in the league is apathetic or pro-China, which makes the league worth not watching even more. Find me a social or political issue that even 5 or 10% of NBA coaches and players have commented on. I bet not even close to 10% of the league has commented on Trumps presidency and thats way more relevant to their everyday lives and the country they live in. Even when Trump publicly called out Curry the vast majority of players and coaches didnt speak up about it, even though you know they have opinions on it. Its not their responsibility to speak out on every social issue. That doesnt mean that theyre apathetic or even pro-Chinese in this case; it is simply not necessary or beneficial for every player to make their opinion on every issue known and its ridiculous to expect them to.
