I tend to check in as soon as I can (usually 24 hours before the flight) since I find motion sickness to be much worse if I'm at the back of the plane. That said, I usually fly on my own, so if people want to trade seats, and the seats are comparable, I don't mind. Times when I won't trade seats: - They have a middle seat, and I have either an aisle or a window. Middle seats suck. - Their seat is further back from where I am (a couple rows is fine.
