You are okay with the athletes getting up and worshipping the US flag and troops every game, despite the fact our empire does exactly every single thing people oppose about China. Nobody cares that these guys take these explotative shoe company blood money or wear corporate logos on their jerseys. Like jakyl says, no ethical consumption within an unjust system. But suddenly you have a responsibility to stand up when the bad guy is Chinese. It seems racist. Nationalistic at best. If you can't enjoy the NBA without it's athletes being activists, you can't enjoy the NBA, because we all know what happens to athletes who stand up for the unacceptable causes.
