For the record, I like how they seem to handle power levels for this particular arc; Trunks isn't even Super Saiyan 3 yet he can still hold his own for the most part against enemies much stronger than him. That's how shounen series should handle battles; higher levels shouldn't render lower ones completely obsolete.
