As I mentioned in the topic we had about this, the study that this figure was based on was deeply flawed. America's federal taxation system is actually very progressive.

Whenever you see a headline about stagnant wages, keep in mind that those figures don't include non-monetary compensation which has become a larger share of total compensation for workers over the last few decades.

Yeah, because basics like healthcare shot up in costs, so the "equivalent" monetary value is way higher.
