I think the funniest thing about the ghost leviathan is that if you scan it, the scan reveals they feast entirely on plankton (probably to handwave them living in an "empty" void). They're just SUPER territorial because you need a lot of feeding ground when you're that big. Yeah I managed to scan one by switching fast between glider and scanner. When they attack, evade with glider then switch suddenly with scanner and scan their head.
