You dont even have a smartphone That's why I'm smarter than the rest. It's about practicality and pricing more than pissing away money because a few other people do. The kiddies want to look cool. If I have a phone at home and at work then why the fuck pay $100 a month for nothing? Youre not smarter than the rest. Quite the opposite, actually. Its also about convenience. Its much easier to carry around a smartphone rather than a phone, calculator, camera, and all the other things a smartphone has with it. Even if a laptop has many of the features, its still much more carrying a laptop around. And having the phone means you can call if there is an emergency. Or get the attention of someone without them having to be at home or work. Or being able to look up something important wherever you are. Make calls on the go. Hints like that. You think you look cool because youre against something that everyone uses like phones.
