Companies ship their oversees because they can't deal with the red-tape in America. The US is overtaxed and over-regulated. Minimum wage in many states is $10 or more, we have payroll taxes and environmental regulations that companies have to comply with. Anti-discrimination laws that companies have to comply with, income taxes, workmans comp laws, etc. In China minimum wage is mininal to non-existent, there is no employee based health care, there is no environmental regulations that companies have to comply with. How to get jobs back here? Well it's simple. You cut the size of government. You drastically cut spending, you abolish the minimum wage.
