Her car gave out and she liked mine, so one trip to the Credit union, a couple pictures and signatures later and, my car is now my mom's car. Apparently for situations like that so long as the other person is approved for the loan, they can take over payments. This bypasses the taxes that usually get added to a traditional sale. In hindsight I feel this is going to hurt my credit, but I'm already pretty dicked when it comes to all that, since I don't even have a credit card.
