Nominator: FL81 (1/8)

(6.5, 6.5, 9)

[Its unique, though I'm not sure how much I enjoyed it VS just appreciating it for being unique.]

Well researching this song was a trip. A vocal jazz cover of a rap song that was performed over a classic jazz song? That was an...interesting musical trip back through time.

I like it, but neither the lyrics or background music make me think of anything in particular or spark a connection. It's not like anything else I can recall hearing so that's neat.

Also, I really wasn't prepared for this song the first time. Since you opened your post with an apology for nominating "weeb" music, I was expecting...uhh...not this?

..also that singer's voice gets a bit too high-pitched at the end. Still good though.

[Final Thoughts: I've listened to this for fun a few times since it's so different, but I always stop when I get to the outro. I just don't like the vocalizations in that part.]

Lowest Ranked Song: Flutter the Dovecotes! (244th Place)

Highest Ranked Song: Cantaloop (67th Place)

Regardless of what you said when nominating, I found your list to be quite varied actually. In no particular order:

I don't think I'd even heard the words "vocal jazz" before I tried to learn what genre Cantaloop even was. It was an entirely new genre for me and a very interesting variant on a rap song, so I've gone back to listen to it quite a few times for fun already (even if it didn't pay off with a perfect score).

Echoes into the Coffin & Haien Idea gave me a look at a different style of music, with interesting stories (well, what I managed to decipher was interesting at any rate)

An avant-garde metal song that is both more avant-garde and better than anything I found when I was trying to research the genre last year.

One of the more interesting experiences from an instrumental song.

And you did so while using only a little over half your available nominations.
