pardon me, i guess i should have made myself clearer. i was including "participating" in the videogames this entire time when i said watching videogame characters die. i mean, lol, i wasn't talking about just watching streamers play games. people who do that a lot have an entirely different problem lol (though nowhere near as bad). i meant watching the videogame characters get killed because you are playing the game and watching your actions in the game. so, to be clear, nothing related to watching and/or participating in the deaths of videogame characters is anywhere remotely in the same vein as watching the execution videos of real people.

Except is is. Participating in murder is worse than witnessing a murder. Participating in a fake murder spree in a videogame, is equal to or greater than simply watching an execution on a screen.

But this goes back to the whole opinion thing. Your opinion isn't fact. Neither is mine, but at least mine is rooted in reality. What exactly is "worse" about watching an execution, versus being the executor on a videogame? Your reasoning can't just be "it's real". That's irrelevant when it comes to videogames that resemble real life. We're not playing pong and donkey konk on the NES anymore.

And this doesn't even go back towards the example of people watching shootouts and killing of REAL people on tv cop reality shows.
