New York has several investigations running against him (he is based out of new york after all) the biggest of which is his charity that was shut down for being a fraud. He's facing charges that could get him prison time as his notoriety may not help him avoid penalties the way wealth usually does. Oh yea president can't pardon state crimes, only federal crimes. Theoretically he could resign and have pence pardon him for election fraud and whatever criminal charges his other actions would have but it wouldn't protect him from the state charges in New York. ...
