That would put us to 10. Due to the lower amount of entrants, I am thinking of changing this to a "fourpack" format with 16 entrants, if we can get that many. We round-robin four fourpacks (24 days of matches) and then do the same for a final fourpack. Thus, it'd be 30 days of matches, so one day less than the original format. Not bad - AND it would make it so characters aren't one-and-done.
