The difference is, how much do I weight the objective quality here against my distaste for enjoying the subject matter? Ultimately, while this episode is far from as well-performed and well-directed as SL, it still is strong for it's era of television. I respect the restraint here, and the attempt to break the Quantum Leap mold. I do think a show like Law and Order would have better talent involved however and the format of that show would enhance the quality of storytelling. They also wouldn't waste a young Amy Ryan in a bit role either. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
