[Much better than expected from a Touhou remix.]

Likely because this doesn't sound like Touhou music to me at all. Seems like overly emotional final boss music from some RPG; we start with the sad music as the main character attempts to persuade the final antangonist to end things peacefully, remember their past, things don't have to end this way--blah blah blah.

Music intensifies as the actual battle starts. Alarm can work as whatever--the structure the final battle takes place in beginning to self-destruct as the final phase of the battle begins, some missile launch ("You're too late, generic main character! Even if you win, my plan can't be stopped!11!"), whatever.

And a final bit of SAD MUSIC after the antagonist's death so the protagonist can be all sad about the ending.



...Kinda generic, but it's not too bad of a fantasy sequence to imagine. Doesn't remind me of Touhou in the least though.

Not really into generic martians though, they don't tend to be fluffy or have long tails (seriously, what's the fun of being non-human if you don't have a tail to wag?). Why are there no songs about turning into a Kushiban?

As an 80s song dealing with martians, this song does bring to mind Rapture by Blondie... kinda. Very different songs (I prefer this one over Rapture, if it matters), but still martian related.
