What is a hoax about the measurable effect of CO2, methane, etc, in the atmosphere? It's basic chemistry. Even children understand it.

If you increase the concentration of those gases in the atmosphere, you accelerate and exacerbate warming and other weird behavior like irregular and giant droughts/famines and rising sea levels. And given enough of those events, you cause massive waves of migration that overload borders and public systems, civil war, and potentially nuclear weapons being fired.
Right now we are dangerously close to running out of time to bring emissions down to 0 or as close to 0 as is safe for the future.
