| snake_5036 09/28/19 8:28:46 PM #128: | People should just stop saying "150 Pokemon" or "250 Pokemon" (less common than 150 but still happens) in general. There were always 151 and 251. All of the pokemon were always coded in the games, there's no reason to arbitrarily leave out the last ones just because Game Freak is stupid and didn't design the games to have every single Pokemon capturable (which is still something they insist on doing today for various reasons) or Game Freak is stupid and gives you the diploma without catching them all (also something they still do.... for whatever reason).
