Also, the song needed to stop at the fake ending; the song slowing down as the singer admits theyre alone and it sounds like the machine is breaking, leaving them trapped in nothingness for eternity? Thats your ending. Speeding the song back up...ehh...not a fan.] Sci-fi? Check. Synthesized voices? Check. Tells a complete and fictional story? Check. Catchy enough that I actually remember how the song sounded? Check. Sounds distinct from the other nominations? Check. Enjoy enough to give a high placement to? ...No check. Good try though!
