A lot of times those guys also get painted as a villain just because they got tired of humoring a clingy sea hag making irritating passes at them... The difference is men are more likely to still hump & dump an unattractive woman to take off the edge between real prospects, particularly now that hook up culture is openly encouraged more thanks to things like apps and societal shifts. This still seems to occur despite the risk of having a baby with an unattractive woman. Testosterone... Women, on the other hand, are less likely to do the same with an unattractive man (even though they can). One of the biggest reasons is the risk of getting pregnant with an unattractive man's baby.
