| MrCool812 09/21/19 2:40:00 PM #14: | 1. I made it through the first three rounds of interviews for a manager-in-training position at a Family Video. I was given the wrong name for my interviewer and addressed her as such. She shook her head, told me her correct name, and I could already tell she wasn't going to hire me. I actually showed her the email I was sent with the incorrect name assuming that she'd understand the confusion, but she just ended the interview saying "You're not management material" a minute later. 2. Had an interview at a private school with the Principal (nun), Assistant Principal (nun), and the school's chaplain. The Principal and Assistant Principal loved me, but the priest kept asking me these really odd questions about Catholicism and was never thrilled with my answers. The three of them eventually started arguing in front of me about wanting to hire me. I actually got up and left the interview eventually since it was so awkward. The principal actually sent me an email later that day with a contract apologizing for the interview and how she really wanted to hire me. I just ignored it. Best part is I took a job at a nearby private school and the priest was transferred here last year and apologized for how he handled himself in the interview. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
