Try that you're going to be tempted to drink twice as much soda as you would if it wasn't sugar free. I can't name the link but there was a study done that showed people who drank diet sodas ended up drinking twice as much soda as those who didn't. I guess the knowledge that the regular soda wasn't sugar free encouraged people to limit their soda intake whereas drinking diet soda lulls people into a false sense of security due to its supposed 'healthiness'.
