His taxes are whatever he says they are. He's never provided any proof; he always falls back on the excuse that any personal information will be used against him, so you just have to trust him when he says he needs your money. Yeah, it's hard to understand why people keep giving him money.

But that's the point. Keep people guessing, adjust the lies, throw around crisis after crisis while stile acknowledging small victories and keep everything vague.

We all know that Phil had atleast 8.000 dollars in his pocket during september (Twitch payment + Jasper reveal) but somehow it wasn't enough, and he is overdrafted again and he is about to receive a Twitch payment again.

Phil will never show any proof of his dire situation. Not because he is afraid people will go and seek him out (because his adress in WA has been know for years, and people easily could have gone to his house when he visited his parents), but because it will show his situation isn't as dire as he makes it out to be.

But we all know it isn't:

-He couldn't get married because he didn't have the money, then got married anyway.
-He would love to have a cat, didn't have the money, then it turned out he had a cat since last December.
-Had to make final preparations to sell his WAcondo after visiting his parents, but still lives there.
-Has been in the worst financial situation of life for a year or more now.
-Barely been able to make ends meet for years now.
-Never has money to do anything, even buy games, but goes to dine out atleast once a week.
-Never has any money, but makes no effort to cut his costs, like sell the CTcondo.
-Never has any money, but makes no effort to increase his income.
-Never has time to do anything, even though there is a break between streams up to 5 hours.
-Before Kat he was strung for money, and he still acts like that, even though their combined incomes should be more than enough to live comfortably.
-Needed money to pay taxes, then used that money to move Kat to him across the country.
-Got 17.000 dollars from Emerald, bit it "barely" made a dent in his taxes, even though he "admitted" needing 17.000 dollars for said taxes.

He will always be overdrafted, he will always have taxes, he will always be in the worst financial.shape of his life. He lies as he breathes. He loves saying that he is "mature" and an "adult" (and that people don't undertand what those responsabilities are), but none of his actions back it up:

-He sees taxes as a "bill" he has to pay yearly, rathet than setting aside a percentage of his income.
-He could generate a passive income through the CTcondo.
-If you are living paycheck to paycheck, cut costs.
-If you are living paycheck to paycheck, look for ways to increase your income.
-If your streams aren't working out, change things up.
-If your job isn't working out, look for another.
-Work more/over time if money is tight.

As always, and I can't stress this enough: there is a HUGE disconnect between what Phil says and what he does. It just baffles me that people keep forking over money to someone like this.

Also, people were trying to get Phil to use the Echocast extension in BL3 for Twitch, and he was being a complete asshole about it. This extension actually allows people to intertact with Phil in game. Later during the stream he was bitching no one was interacting with him...
