The BL3 stream is pretty much a dud.

For the record, Phil made 93 dollars during that stream, give or take. So playing the game for 2.5 hours (he started late, the pre-stream lasts about 70 minutes, and he too a long break pretty shortly after that, meaning that of the 4 hour stream, at most he played for 2.5 hours) he already made the money back that it cost.

He is such a greedy little fuck, because as you can see, if he invested in his "business", he'd make that money back and more. Yet he doesn't want to just make money, he wants people to pay for ALL his expenses, including business expenses (which is weird, since he already does, but he just wants EVERYTHING handed to him).

But the stream itself was just awful. And if this was the big "premier" stream, then I guess subsequent streams will be worst in terms of "contributions".

Phil is really weird in this way. He has this need to play every major release, but doesn't want to get invested in it. Sure, he might get a couple of extra "day 1 views" but the quality of his stream will immediately deter new viewers. And because he will drop the game as soon as he is done with it. Even though the endgame is pretty extensive, and people are interested in this. Things like coop, experimenting with gear/builds, there absolutely is an audience for this. And not just for BL3, for lots of games there is still much to do after completing the game.

By sticking with just a couple of games, Phil would retain a much better "core" audience. Because the people who come to watch game A, aren't the same as the people who watch game B. And it would also cut his costs.

In my humble opinion, and even though Phil would deny it (possibly), he should stick with fighting games. He is generally best at this, draws in the most consequent views, and the rage/salt it generates causes more money for him. Games like Dark Souls/Blood Borne also draw in many viewers.

Phil should probably drop shooters all together. he is just utter shit at them. If you look at "detractor" videos that do slo-mo clips, you can see how awful his aim is for example. His gameplay is also boring as fuck. The best he does in Blackout is hide like a bitch in the bathroom.

And, (and he really should just fucking do it), fighting games would be great to play against his viewers, that is the kind of interaction his chat needs. And games like Dark Souls he could coop, which again, would be good for both his channel (in terms of viewership) and exposure. Corroborating with others (there is still a huge audience for, again, Dark Souls) would also be good for his channel. Get rid of the fucking schedule. Don't clock out at xx:xx sharp, don't do that goddamn pre-stream (seriously, it's "detractor" fodder, this is how you get caught out in lies every single time), and don't split your streaming time in 2 segments. Just play what you feel like, or what is being asked by chat.

Who am I kidding, Phil has no desire to make more money, or at least make an effort to earn more money. He already clears 6 figures per year so why bother.
