The law is pretty clear that when you give a gift, you waive any rights to take it back. It's not yours when you give a gift, so it's not the bank's money when they gave it to these guys. Key word. Are you actually arguing that banks are absolutely perfect? No human or computer is flawless. Banks are intended to be much safer and more convenient than keeping your money yourself, and when something does go wrong they are expected to rectify the situation. Kyuubi4269 posted...
