Yeah, was gonna bring this up if it was an Im outta options and have no clue how to win situation, but since you won on your own, even better. If Bannon was getting killed in one hit, you probably have him in your front row. So do you know how to change the order of your party? If not, I believe on the menu screen, you just press to the left. From there, you can reorder your party. Additionally, if you double click a party member, it moves them between the front and back row. Characters in the back row take half the damage, but also dish out half the damage. Some weapons/attacks ignore the back row setup and still deal full damage, such as magic attacks.
