Dark Souls fans are famous for telling people the game isn't as hard as it seems and that you need to "get gud". I don't think I've seen an actual DS fan claim the game is impossibly difficult. Dark souls style games are basically pattern memorization. Dodge until opening attack back to dodging. Dark Souls and the like are hard in the same way Zelda 2 is hard.
