Based on some of his past requests on Twitter for suggestions to improve his stream, what he wants to hear is: "You're doing a great job, Phil! Keep doing more of the same."

Supporting this.

A while ago, don't remember when, he asked on Twitter for "feedback". He got well over a hundred responses. And sure, some of them were trolls and got rightfully ignored. But a lot of people gave valid and legit criticism. Like how they didn't want to hear about his monetary woes all the time, that he shouldn't share every minute detail of his life online, that people were fed up with 1-2 hour pre-streams.

Phil ignore EVERYTHING. He only responded to one person, that person was complimenting Phil and said that he should keep doing what he is doing.

Phil isn't looking to improve, he doesn't want to improve. He wants people to tell him he is doing is the right thing. Remember when everyone got released from Curse? Everyone got an email saying that they were let go, you know, the standard bullcrap. Phil however spun this of course entirely in his advantage: They loved him, were huge fans, he did nothing wrong, etc.

And that is what Phil is always looking for. Phil loves saying that people take "a nugget of truth" (bitch, its kernel of truth), but ironically he does the same. He looks for some small detail, and then expands that to disproportionate size. But important is, that he is looking for an out that absolves him from any and all guilt/responsibility.

For an "mature adult", he goes out of his way to dodge the responsibilities that come with being one.
