I think it was either try to force him to raise his legs somehow or the guy breaks his legs and possibly the instructer's upon landing Also, since I never went paragliding, I read the Reddit comments and apparently the guy was supposed to be in a relaxed, sitting position in the harness during all of this but I guess they never told him that and the pilot never bothered to try to explain to him about it --- ...
