I mean, she can, but it's hard for me to feel sorry for her when it's an issue that's prevalent in this field and many others. It's not like she's the only one that has to deal with it. Again, I don't know her situation so it might be tactless of me to take this position, but she made it seem like these risks and concerns were previously disclosed to her since she received some type of de-escalation training. Others deal with much worse more frequently and get paid much less. It would be nice not to be assaulted, duh. I'm sure many other people share the same sentiment. Especially those in behavioral therapy and special education. However, this isn't a perfect world. These issues will continue to persist and the only thing we can control is how we deal with them and, to a certain extent, if we deal with them. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
