Topic	Sick and tired of being assaulted by patients

Maybe not punish us for defending ourselves in dangerous situations? I mean, if it's something that's common knowledge and you knew it was a risk going into the field then you only have yourself to blame. I was in a very similar situation, I worked as a behavioral therapist, and got tired of being assaulted. However I knew it came with the job and everybody else in the field has to deal with it. Self defense was in no way justifiable so I quit. Of course my situation is different.
