You might also say that cyborgs and robots are similar, but really there should be zero crossovers from robots to cyborgs, unlike ninja to assassin where at least half the field will be from the ninja contest I'm betting.
I mean now that you mention it, I was totally going to nominate the lead character from that awful movie Ninja Assassins again, but the name of that movie lends itself to that sort of thing. I don't think any of the Naruto characters would pop up again except maybe Zabuza and/or Haku. Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, etc. are most definitely not assassins unless something has changed since Shippouden (I've only watched the first ten or so episodes).
