Not much of a strawman. And right now idc about who you date, mostly just the people who dont consider trans women to be women. If that is true, then the inverse also has to be true.
So they would see a trans man as a woman.
The arguement often times is, 'No I wouldn't date anyone who had a penis because I'm straight.' To the people who believe that I ask, would it be straight to date a trans man then? They have a vagina.
The main point is you can't have it both ways, either it is gay to be with a trans man, or it is gay to be with a trans women, it can't be both.
If you believe trans women are indeed women, and you won't date them for another reasons other than you think it would be gay then this question doesn't apply to you.
Just because I don't want to have sex with a penis-wielding 'woman' doesn't mean I have to want to have sex with a vagina-wielding 'man.' ---
