| Topic | So I just realized there are fake, scam job offers. Is this a RED FLAG? |
| DeroIin 08/24/19 10:16:41 AM #9: | Reminds me of when I applied for this company called National Health Educators this summer. Received an offer that was contingent on me passing this certification test with an 80%. They encouraged me to buy a $290 exam guide that matched the exact test and like the stupid person I am, I bought it, went over the guide, took notes. Note that they say if you make a 70% they reimburse you for the rest, so I was atleast hopeful. Took the 3 hour test, waited a week for them to grade it and didnt pass even though I felt confident and everything I studied for matched the test. Didnt even qualify for the reimbursement. They dont tell you your percentage or why you failed, they just tell you you failed, which is extra shady. They allowed one more retake and this time around, they gave me the wrong exam than what was listed in the email and despite seeing a lot of the same questions, I failed again. So yeah, I got finessed. Looked them up on the BBB right afterward and saw they had an F. Fuck me right for not heeding the warnings. --- 1 up ... Copied to Clipboard! |
