| MrSmartGuy 08/21/19 4:17:48 PM #88: | The writing and the characters for the Future arc are both bleh. Considering the setting for the entire arc, it's about as boring as it could possibly be. Nothing they did made me care about any new people in the anime at all, especially the more important characters introduced. Meanwhile, I think the writing for the Despair arc was actually its strongest asset. It helps that all of the dub's "don't give a shit" moments came in the Despair arc, and every single one of them made me laugh pretty hard.
