They couldn't just make it a simple episode 1 -> episode 2 thing To be precise there are two "Danganronpa 3" anime. Danganronpa Future Chapter, and Danganronpa Despair Chapter. You alternate watching episodes for it (and yes, it does matter- there are things introduced in one that matter to the other). So you watch Future 1 > Despair 1 > Future 2 > Despair 2 etc. And while I know you may ignore it since you already spoiled yourself on stuff from DR1, I do suggest you don't look up anything more about the anime because it will spoil DR2. ...
