NYC's subways are pretty great. The fact that you can get from one side of the city to another for less than $3 at any time and any day of the week is pretty awesome.

At the same time though, it attracts a of NYC's badder elements. Ask any NYC veteran and they'll have a pretty bad subway story to tell you. The homeless here are legendary, and a lot of the panhandlers can become tyrannical after you tell them no.

Honestly, the subway is one of the big reason why I want to move there. That and combined with the fact that theres always something to do and I just want a fresh start in a place where I dont know anyone. Atlantas traffic is such trash and our public transit system is woefully under developed. Its really a turn off to go out anywhere here for me.

My dad is from Harlem, he taught me how to deal with the homeless when I was young so I just ignore them whenever Ive gone to visit. Its cruel but necessary to avoid situations.

Im actually visiting a few places in Flatbush and East Harlem today. Wish me luck!
