Topic	Moving to New York in two weeks, help?

Ask any NYC veteran and they'll have a pretty bad subway story to tell you. The homeless here are legendary, and a lot of the panhandlers can become tyrannical after you tell them no. Honestly, the subway is one of the big reason why I want to move there. That and combined with the fact that theres always something to do and I just want a fresh start in a place where I dont know anyone. Atlantas traffic is such trash and our public transit system is woefully under developed. Its really a turn off to go out anywhere here for me. My dad is from Harlem, he taught me how to deal with the homeless when I was young so I just ignore them whenever Ive gone to visit. Its cruel but necessary to avoid situations.
