He finally had some character development at WK12 and then he just kind of... didn't again. I'm not arguing his overall popularity. All I'm saying is that more and more people (maybe it's a tiny vocal minority, maybe it's an actual groundswell) are starting to care about him less and less. I was never his biggest fan but always liked him, even pre-LIJ, but I really struggled to get into any of his matches this G1 outside of the one with Shingo. And I'm not the only one.
