This is extremely telling of how he was raised, combined with the Nintendo 64 story I am convinced that he threw a fucking tantrum every time he didn't get his way. Why else would any parent (assuming Phil tells the truth) pay their child 4.000 dollars for their taxes when said child makes over 100.000 dollar per year. Also, he said that his parents are paying for his cat, what kind of parent would pay for the pet of their child!? And bear in mind, this man is in his late 30s, why the fuck do his parents need to pay for his lifestyle. The only thing I can think off is that Phil is so used to begging everyone, including his parents and so used to getting his way, that he will just continue to do so till someone says no. Mind you, WHEN someone tells him no, he goes full scorched earth. He'll throw everyone under the bus over even a perceived slight, so I doubt he'll make an exception for his parents.
