My dad was shot in Vietnam (still served the rest of his tour) and I had a teacher who was shot when he lived in New Orleans. Both said it didn't fucking tickle. Reading first hand accounts from people who didn't realize they had been shot, what's usually their excuse for not seeking medical attention?
