The stroman deal locked them specifically into that year. Frazier or Andujar for Wheeler would've been more fair like I said but not a fit. If they turned around and dealt Stroman right after getting him, that would've meant they were looking at 2020 as a rebuild year. So I'm not sure I even believe that Stroman reported deal, as it is opposite of their trying to compete in 2020 strategy, which all of their moves have lined up with.
