Biden gets trounced in the general. "Sleepy Joe" is top tier for nicknames.

Ultimately, Biden is kind of boring and middle of the road, no new or exciting ideas, not very brilliant, career politician with no major accomplishments to his name. On the other side, you have Donald Trump, brilliant businessman who made bankruptcy and tax avoidance into high art forms, and the politician of a generation who tore down our political institutions and remade them in his image. As president, he has ushered in the greatest period of economic prosperity in decades.

I mean, who would you rather have negotiating with China? Biden is a nicer person than Trump but he's completely outclassed everywhere else.

I mean, OBVIOUSLY Biden. Really, ANYONE would be a better negotiator if they don't automatically kowtow to whoever is willing to kiss their ass with compliments.

If Trump was that easy to negotiate against, the Democrats could have stopped all of his plans ages ago by just heaping praise upon him.

They WOULD have. It's the Republican Senate who are actually competent and shutting him the fuck up. Don't you remember all the times he was totally down with whatever Chuck and Nancy wanted (while alone with them), only to reverse position when intelligent people talked to him after the fact?

Here's the deal. Every Republican senator and representative will go on vacation for a month in August and will be enjoying nature without access to phone, internet, etc. The Democrats will have totally free rein to talk with Trump. Whatever they get him to agree to, the Republican Senate agrees to pass upon their return from vacation. In the absence of a deal to the contrary, the Democrats agree to appropriate $25 billion for the Wall.

Deal or no deal?

Obviously deal.
