So with this heat and "new" headlines - the comment section of a lot of newspapers is usually a lot of arguing. Usually starts with "told you so", "same cycle as always", "cannot control it" or "fake news"

And it gets into flame wars from there -.-

My view is that scientists (most) are looking for the truth. And that those who dont will often be disproven "pretty fast", mostly because of how peer-review works. Its one thing to fool "me and you", but to fool someone most in your own field, especially over time, just seems unreal to me. Especially when the money is in the status quo. The billion dollar idea is to disprove climate change, right?

I also feel like its kinda like the tobacco and lead industry... the industry will fight to keep itself alive and the burden of proof... well, millions can die during

I guess its pretty clear that i believe that we affect climate - and i do so because i believe in peer reviewed science, not because i know any of this stuff (did some physics and engineering classes, but for all i know, math could just be a faulty construct... but i believe it works because ive had teachers who had to prove the theorem and explained how etc)
