Some cops are bad, some cops are good, some are just looking to be badass, some are just looking to do a job. I never really know. We need structural police reform in this country if we want to eliminate that "distance" from the community and police. I say this cause back home, these friendly cops let me and my friends go off with just a warning even though we clearly did something wrong. Yet when I moved somewhere else, the first thing I hear about is some cops using excessive/un-proportional force to resolve a situation.
