Now this is a topic about backpacks in general. I can contribute to that.
I've been hiking for years so I've gotten to know what works and not.

My current goto backpack company is Osprey Backpacks. They are functional lightweight and most importantly give great attention to the contact with your back. And in my packs they all have a mess back, to help keep you cooler and drier. All at a reasonable price.
((Before that it was Kelty.)) And an LLBean.

To take it a step further, I've actually been eyeballing this backpack for my everyday carry:

-- This YouTube I watch has one and admittedly he made it look very cool, but I've read a few critical reviews and it's scaring me a bit. That and it's a tad more expensive than I'm used to paying for for a bag. At the same time, having a hard time finding a bag that has all the functionality that one has. I'm in a First World conundrum.

Ya that is a rather hefty price for a bag that size. I really like the compartments and stuff. But for that price, I would want it to have at least straight up Goretex in it. I mean if it is for a Camera then you should already have a camera case of some kind.

Also, I cringe a little in that video when I see the dude carrying his camera through a stream with out neck strap around his wrist. You always wrap that around your wrist!! Always!

Cool pack neat features but way to pricy. IMO
