No one is saying she should be hanged, drawn and quartered IRL. But a ban or losing a sponsorship is absolutely called for and totally reasonable.

Yeah I dont understand the people who are acting like theres a mob trying to tar and feather her. She did something bad and deserves appropriate punishment for it.

I was gonna use tar and feather but decided to go the extra step.

I dunno if a ban or sponsorship loss is "too draconian" on a 15 year old or a "punitive measure" that does not "fix" whatever problem she has in her head that makes her think one's melanin levels should determine whether or not they deserve to live or die. But such punishments can serve to be a deterrent because people should not feel like it's just another thing to say when they wish harm upon others over something like race.

Words are actions and when enough people say racist things, even if they're 15 years old, it contributes to the overall toxic pool that leads to actual violence. In if a person condones lynching, the only difference between them and someone actually lynching another person is opportunity or whether or not they are "daring" enough to commit murder. What one speaks is a representation of their internal state. And such racists are often backed by white supremist groups as soon as they are made public. Kind of like soph, who, while is a "child", has appeared on alt right platforms run by people who are not children yet pushing her narrative.

Honestly why are 15-year olds even being "sponsored" in the first place
