For those who want spoilers: you know Layla hassan, the girl you play as in modern day stuff in origins and Odyssey? Well now she's a super powered villain driven mad with power. And otso burg, the Templar merc guy who's been in the series for a long time, got injured and went into the animus(setting up the next ac game which is rumored to show the origins of the Templars) and he is now the "hero".
