Topic	Comic Con started in 1969?

Yeah it was 100% comics in those days. Marvel, DC dominated but there were European comics like Asterix and Heavy Metal. Also underground comics. A little bit of animation but no anime. Can't remember if there were manga. Stan Lee, John Buscema were there. The brilliant Frank Frazetta too. Saw HR Giger - the guy who designed the monsters for the movie Alien. No movie stars or anything like that though. I was 14.
